Universal testing machine

ATI UTM-HTL is a measurement and control system engineered for highprecision applications, featuring three dedicated analog input channels: one for load, one for an electronic extensometer, and one for expansion measurement. Each channel utilizes independent 24-bit A/D conversion chips, enabling high precision data sampling with a maximum resolution of ±1/500,000, ensuring that the full resolution is consistently maintained. To enhance measurement accuracy and range, the system incorporates up to 15 segments of linear compensation and correction functions. This capability significantly extends the measurement range and precision of the connected sensors, providing users with reliable and accurate data across various testing scenarios.

Universal testing machine

In addition to the analog inputs, the system is equipped with three channels of photoelectric encoders and four frequency multi- plication counting input channels. These include one channel for a cable pull displacement sensor and two channels dedicated to large deformation extensometers. This configuration allows for comprehensive monitoring of both static and dynamic measurements. The system also features eight switch input interfaces, enabling the connection of up to eight external switch input signals. This flexibility supports a wide range of applications and user requirements, making the system adaptable to various testing setups. At the heart of this system is the EDCH controller, which utilizes a one way USB plug and play(driver-free) communication interface, compatible with STC measurement and control card acquisition PCI interfaces.

This design facilitates high-speed data communication with the PC, enabling real time uploading of collected data and the instantaneous delivery of control instructions. As a result, users can achieve real-time control of the testing machine directly from their PC, enhancing operational efficiency and responsiveness. Furthermore, the system supports the configuration of multiple force sensors and deformation sensors, allowing users to select and switch sensors according to their specific testing needs. This modularity ensures that the system can adapt to various applications, providing the flexibility required in demanding measurement environments.

This testing machine is suitable for rubber, plastic profile, plastic pipe, sheet, film, wire and cable, waterproof coil, wire and other materials in high or low temperature environment, tensile, compression, bending, peeling, tearing, shear and other mechanical properties of the test. It’s very convenient for users to carry out research and development, quality control work. Universal testing machine

The frames all incorporate human factor considerations in the design to ensure safety, reduce operator fatigue and provide the highest level of flexibility. Extrememly strong crosshead guidance is incorporated in all frame designs providing the highest level of lateral crosshead stiffness. High accuracy Load cell. is interchangeable with all frames allowing each frame to operate at full capacity. The preloaded precision ball screw allows high speed and high precision measurements with less noise. The load frame is bulit with 4 columns and heavy duty pre-loaded bearings. Preloaded ball-screw, precision guidance columns and the symmetrical drive system improve the stiffness and alignment. The testing machine stops automaticly at the end of measurement cycle and when the change in force exceeds a specificed valued. The Dual over travel limits, located on the front console, help to prevent crosshead overshoothing and sensor overloads. The space in the working area is large and ables to test wide samples.

Loading weight system is the most critical aspect of mechanical testing. ATI UTM-HTL is able to get the most accurate results. Measuring load can be from 0.4% to 100% of the rated capacity. Calibration within 0.5% accuracy and conform to ASTM E4, ISO 7500-1, EN 10002-2, BS1610, DIN 51221 standards. This special load cell provides excellent immunity to impact and size forces, rugged and low profile measuring body with strictly symmetrical design. Mechanical protection to protect the strain area. It can be set for 105% over range protection, over load capacity of 150% without permanent zero shift and over load projection of 300% of the rated capacity withput mechanical damage. This meets the stringgent weights and measures requirements throughout Europe and USA.
